Walkway Over The Hudson: The Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park provides access to the Hudson River's breathtaking landscape for pedestrians, hikers, joggers, and bicyclists. The bridge deck stands 212 feet above the river's surface and is 6,768 feet (1.28 miles) long, making it the longest, elevated pedestrian bridge in the world.
FDR House + Historic Site: Visit FDR's 1826 home that remains almost exactly as it was at the time of the president's death in 1945, including the stables, icehouses, and a walking trail.

Dia:Beacon: Located on the banks of the Hudson River in Beacon, New York, Dia:Beacon museum is the home for Dia’s collection of art from the 1960’s to the present as well as special exhibitions, new commissions, and public and education programs. Bannerman Castle: From Beacon’s ferry dock, you can board the boat that transports you to this tiny island in the middle of the Hudson River. Native Americans thought it was haunted, but that didn’t stop Frank Bannerman from building a castle as a warehouse for his military surplus business. Bannerman Castle Trust now offers tours of the island, where you can enjoy 360° river views while supporting its efforts to preserve the building.
Poet's Walk Park: For a different look at the local landscape—its beauty inspired the creation of the Hudson River school of painting, after all—talk a walk in this 120-acre riverside park. Nearly two miles of trails meander through meadows and woods. Legend has it that Washington Irving came up with the idea for "Rip Van Winkle" here while gazing upon the Catskill Mountains.
Millbrook Winery: Considered one of New York State’s top wineries, Millbrook has been producing award-winning wines on its 130 acres for more than 30 years.
